Electrolyzer
(V.3 ELECTROLYZER)
What am I doing?
I am constructing a multifunctional apparatus that has to output 7,3 cubic centimeters/second of hydrogen and 3.6 cc/sec of hydrogen. The machine works based on electrolysis, a process that separates water in its components (hydrogen and oxygen). The v.3 electrolyzer (that is how I called the project) should also work as a variable electric source, because I want to have the possibility to use it as a Laboratory Voltage Source. So to do that, I based it on a 300w computer power source and a 24v power supply (which I do not know where it came from). The PC power supply outputs diverse voltages (3,5,9 and 12 volts) I want to use these voltages for different applications (excepting the 3v line). The 5v will feed 2 USB ports, the 9V will be connected to the electrolyzer (inside the same box) and will have an output to feed the multimeter. The 12 volt will go to a step-up voltage regulator and a step-down at the same time. Using a DPDT switch, I will be able to alternate the variable voltage (more than 12v/ less than 12 volts). Also, there will be fixed 12 and 24 volts output. This complex is needed to obtain O2 for the V3 hybrid engine. I haven't started construction of it yet.
Updates/notes
Here I will post the most
recent information about the project.
Here I will post the notes about it.
