What does this concept mean?
The hybrid solar panel is a panel that produces electricity and hot water in the same time. It's just a conventional solar panel but with water flowing on the hot surface and getting hot.
Uses
It will help only in long interplanetary trips to save energy for hot water and not so useful for short flights. It also will be very helpful in houses with small roofs or flat blocks, where on the roof will be lots of them, one for energy and other for hot water. It will be simply cut in half, because you have 2 in 1. It can be helpful in small colonies in other planets too.
